My name is Jeffrey Feinberg

I was born and raised in North Florida and have lived here the majority of my life.  I currently reside with my wife, four sons, one daughter, and a lot of animals and plants on a small farm in rural Jefferson County Florida.  

IAQplants.com is a combination of two of my passions, plants and indoor air quality.  For the last 20 years I have worked as a public health professional, most recently focusing on mold and indoor air quality in both residential and commercial environments.  As a consultant, I am always looking for science backed recommendations to make to my clients to improve the indoor air quality in their home and/or business.   To read more about my indoor air quality business, please visit North Florida Mold Consulting.

NASA published a landmark study back in 1989 demonstrating that certain species of plants have the ability to remove a variety of common toxins from the air.  Unfortunately, these toxins have only become more prevalent in our environment since that study was published.  Admittedly, these plants cannot be the sole strategy for improving the indoor air quality in your home or business, but they can absolutely be an attractive and cost-effective piece of the puzzle!
